Getting married abroad: Capry my Day flies in Germany

Giulio and Pina, a tight-knit Italian couple, he’s neapolitan and she’s Calabrian, have lived in Germany for years, but they would have never thought of getting married abroad. In 2019, before the global pandemic, they contacted us with the desire of getting married in Capri. However, due to a series of setbacks connected to the pandemic too, they decided to postpone it. We thought for a long time that their dream of getting married on the island would have never come true.

However one day, Pina phoned us with splendid news. They had finally decided to get married in Germany, and their wish was that we would still be their wedding planner together with our team of collborators. Pina’s dream was to celebrate a Capri style wedding, but everything organized in Germany, in Frankfurt specifically.

So we decided to involve all our suppliers, for example the photographers Umberto D’Aniello, Elmojtero and Ivan Rubino, the sugar almonds and wedding favours stand builders, Scialapopolo folkloric band, entertainment bands and entertainers. Pina coordinated every detail wth us, starting from the wedding invites. Our suppliers accepted the challenge with enthusiasm, and so our long-distance organisation started. The wedding date was October 14th, so a month before we started sending everything to the chosen location – Orangerie di Darmstadt: Cuban cigars stands, wedding favors, with Daniela Diaz Studio and Grazia Terminello’s assistance. We coordinated every single detail, 30 people departed from Capri, including the artists for the entertainment, Quisisona band and Frankie Capone. Through Caprimyday Travel & Experience we organised the hydrofoil/plane tickets, trasported both in Naples and in Frankfurt when we arrived. It was an unforgettable experience, we spent three whole days all together in Germany in Best Western Hotel Darmstadt Mitte.
We brought with us the animators and Marco Pagan for the service as well, even thanks to the support of an Italian team of collaborators who live in Frankfurt, who supported us for every request during the planning stage.
